Removing the word “Home – ” from the homepage title

Hello,

I’d really appreciate it if you can tell me how to remove the word “Home – ” from the homepage title which is also showing up in Google search results. I.e. Google is showing “Home – {Site Title}”. I want the title of the homepage to just be “{Site Title}”.

Naturally I tried simply deleting the page title for the static homepage. However this then shows the title as ” – {Site Title}” (with the dash).
