Change Sidebar Menu Styles

Hi,

On sidebar, the Recent Posts menu and the Category menu have different list styles, one has arrow icons and “sliding door” animation, the other has none.

I would like all sidebar menus to have arrow icons and “sliding door” animation. How should I achieve this? I am not good at stylesheet customization. Your help and coding samples will be greatly appreciated.
