Header Right – need to add special script and html text

Hi – I’d need to add cross-site scripting code, image and html text (temporarily) to the right header. Currently, I’m not using any links or functions provided by the theme.

How do I accomplish this? Is this a combination of php, html, and css to make this work? I so hate being a novice. :-S
