Services Links give 404 error

I am having an issue with the links in the services carousel on my home page. When I set up my services, the permalink is set with something like this:

http://www.styleavenuestudios.com/services_item/bridal-jewelry/

However, when I try to view this link, I just get a 404 error page. I can get to the services page I created by using this link:

http://www.styleavenuestudios.com/?services=bridal-jewelry

I was able to use this in my menu, but the services carousel doesn’t allow me to set the names of the links. I tried changing my permalink settings to default and then back to post name, but it didn’t help.

Any suggestions?
