Header Social

How can I change the color of the header social? They are white when not hovered over, but turn blue when hovered. I would like them to match my theme color. Footer icons are fine because the background is black.

Also, is there an HTML code or CSS Style which i can use to get an overlay over an image box (Visual Composer)
