alt text for portfolio and post images

Hi,

I’ve been looking into some SEO issues with a site I’ve built with Savia and I’ve noticed that the alt text for featured images in portfolio and posts is blank.

Looking at the templates it looks like this may be by design.

Can you please let me know how to go about getting alt text to display with the images? I dont’ know how I overlooked this when I was selecting a theme but this is quite a big deal for me. I’ve recently paid someone to populate at text for images in the media library.

Can you please advise?
