As you found out yourself the plugin support has been discontinued, I still actively have it installed on many websites including our Demos.
Using the theme without the plugin is also possible of course, obviously you will be missing some of the features that the plugin additionally provides to extend mostly the ROW settings (parallax backgrounds and videos mostly) some of which are already available in the Core WPBakery Editor plugin. :)

My version is 1.5.14 which came which your theme and the new version should be 1.5.15 according to wordpress. But it seems I need a license for that. I search for the plugin and find out that the item is no longer available see https://codecanyon.net/item/parallax-video-backgrounds-for-visual-composer/7320433.
As the technical responsible of my conpany, I have to ensure that everything which is hosted on our server hasn’t security risks.
So I now wonder if the plugin is still actively maintained?
If so could you please tell me where my company could obtain a license.
If not is it possible to use your fantastic theme without this plugin.
What would be the disadvantages of uninstalling the plugin on the WP instance of the client my company serve.
Actual we don’t use any parallax or video backgrounds and this would not changed in future due there is no need for our client.

Your theme is very successful visually.
Unfortunately, I am also having trouble with the Alea theme, it would be great if you could update the theme.
What can be done to replace the “Parallax & Video Backgrounds for WPBakery Page Builder” plugin which is no longer maintained?

I also noticed a malfunction with the javascript of the spinneer icon which blocks the display of pages on Firefox. You have to Disable the theme option in “general” > Preloader Animation – Spinner Icon

1. Strange behavior, I tested the theme with the latest WP and all seems fine. Please send me URL + user/pass of your website and steps to reproduce.
2. Again, strange behavior, I don’t think it’s related to the theme but I will check along with the other issue.
3. Not theme related, you should check your system, whether mail server is working fine etc.
4. Same as above, can you check this feature with one of the default WP themes?
5. At what point is that checkbox?
6. Why not, let me take a look.
