REQUEST_DENIED usually means an error with the API of some sort, is this your code?

Make sure it’s active and it is matching your domain and you should be good to go!
An alternative would be to get an Iframed google map and place it in a Raw HTML element on a page… but it’s not as nice of a solution.

I’m working with fortuna theme and I keep getting this error when loading the contact page: Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED
I have de Geocoding API enabled as well as the Maps JavaScript Api. In the theme options section, in the contact tab I entered the API number. What could be wrong? Is there any other way to display the map?

Which theme version are you running?
If using v 1.4 you should still see the Toolbar Toggle that enables your shortcodes in the Gutenberg editor:
