My goal is to have the ability to share directly on Pinterest. I have tried multiple Pinterest plug-ins but I can never seem to get it to work properly. I’m thinking it has something to do with how the images are formatted on my website. For instance if see on my site, the images shows you a magnifying glass to expand the image when hovering over it. I’m thinking this is somehow disruptive when the with the Pinterest plug-in.

I wish I was a better Pinterest expert to be able to help you my friend.
Honestly I have never integrated such pinterest feature + if it will be quite some coding to integrate it straight into the theme.
Surely adding that button wouldn’t work out of the box as the generated HTML for the images includes some extra divs, icons for the hover effects etc.
I would speak to one of the plugin’s developers what your best option would be with a custom theme. The plugin you listed above looks good, maybe you can check with the forum on there to see whether someone has integrated it with custom themes.
