Hi there,
I’m using some buttons in my header with links included to anchors. These anchors are actually tabs. When I clink on a button that scrolls to the tabs, Id like to have the pointed tab activated and opened … For the moment all links are pointing to the tabs by default with the first tab item selected. Can you help ?
I will send you a link to the page in a second private message.
Thanks a lot for your help

Hi again,
just to let you know that I’ve changed a bit my tabs’ names. So, “testing” no longer exists, it’s called “Description” instead. Sorry for that but I had to include real content … My needs and issues remain the same though … Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I see, yes, you should be able to do this with Javascript (using the Raw JS element).
I would add IDs to the anchors first off so you can access them easier with JS.
Then simply add a few onclick events with JS.
Basically you want On clicking of a Icon button to also imitate a click on a specific tab.
So something like this:

$(function() {
$( "#BUTTON_ID" ).click(function(){
    $( "#description" ).click(); // Imitate the click of the specific tab
});
});

Thanks a lot for your answer, I’ll give it a try. Unfortunately I’m not a Javascript wizard, so I do not know how to implement this, but I’ll try!
Once again, thank you for your help

Hi again,
tried but failed …
The button I’m using is a top icon box element, and I can’t find a way to add an id to this element, only additional class is available in the settings panel. So, I’ve tried with a class .button using this code :
<script type=”text/javascript”> $(function() {
$( “.button” ).click(function(){
$( “#applications-and-protocols” ).click(); // Imitate the click of the specific tab
});
}); </script>
But it doesn’t work …
Thank you!
