theres a way i can introduce a carousel slider in the footer section of my home page?

i want something like what is showed here:

But i would like it get showed in the are where the theme usually displays widgets, (area in black over the copyright texts) not in the white as in the page i show it first

I would first override my footer.php template in my child theme, then unify the 4 columns (widget areas) into one so I can fit the carousel. Then using a TEXT widget paste the shortcode for the carousel in there. Obviously some CSS styling would be needed after that as well, overall you should be able to do it though.
