I created a normal page called “Services” where I put beneath the Services single pages that I created with Aqua’s Services template. Then I change the parameter in function.php to modify address from “item-services” to “Services” like the title of normal page that I created.

Now, when I click on main Services page in main menu, load the standard template and not the page that I created. It’s ok, but I don’t find the way to change the main Services Template. I need to insert custom seo parameter and try to change other things. Plus, in the reminder navigation under the main menu, doesn’t appear the page “services”, but show only “home/single-services”, but should be “home/services/single-services”.

In the editor I found only “single-services.php”, I tried to find something in other pages but I didn’t find nothing.

Can you explain to me how can modify the main Services Template? Or if there is another simpler way to do it?

I hope I was clear, despite my English not very well. Is not simple to explain this problem. I trust in yours experience.

What do you mean by “main Services Template” and “subcategories of single services”, please explain to me what you are trying to achieve and I will try to help out, sorry I couldn’t quite get it!

For example:

I created a “Services Page” called “S1″
When I click on S1 the address is “siteweb.com/services_item/S1″

“services_item” is for me the “main Services Template”. This page have the own standard parameters. The creation of this page is automatic, after I created a “Services Page”

I don’t like the name “services_item” and I change this parameter in “services” in a simple way, because of your advice. Nothing to complain about.

I didn’t find anywhere this “main Services Template” (“services_item” in origin).
So, I try to created a standar page of wordpress that I called with the same name, “services”, and I put beneath this standar page the “Services Pages” that I had need to create.

Now in the menu I have the main page “services”, with the “Services Pages” in subcategories. When I click on “S1″ the address now is “siteweb.com/services/S1″, just like I wanted.

Until now everything is wonderfull.

But, when I go on “siteweb.com/services” didn’t go to the standar page that I had created, but go on the “main Services Template” (“services_item” in origin).

The problem is that I would like to put SEO parameter and customize this “main Services Template” (“services_item” in origin), and on my standar page of wordpress that I have created is more simple beacause I can use the SEO plugin and the visual editor.

Now, there is a way to rewrite the code to ensure that the “main Services Template” (“services_item” in origin) becomes my standar page of wordpress that I have created, continuing to use the “Aqua Services Page” like subcategories?

Alternatively, where I can found “main Services Template” (“services_item” in origin) to modify the parameter?

I resolved my problem changing the caurosel’s code. I set ‘page’ in the parameter “post_type” and now it’s ok. I choice a very complicated way; maybe because too much hours on my pc.

I have a different question now, but I’ll create a new post.
