Hello,
Is the Fortuna theme compatible with Woocommerce 3.0 onwards (current release 3.1.0)?
I tried updating to 3.0 when it was released earlier this year but it completely broke the product images in much the same way as a lot of others have reported (Images do not display but when you click where the images should be they open). Rolled back changes and am currently running 2.6.14…..Just tried again and it appears to be still broken….any thoughts?

Many thanks…

Hi there,

Sure, the theme is compatible with Woocommerce 3.0+, do you have a URL I can take a look at?
You may want to check your thumbnail options in the Woocommerce settings screen. You somehow may be missing some of the correct thumbnails for your product image, if you changed the sizes that you want to be used. You may also try to regenerate your site thumbnails, there’s a plugin for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Hi BlueOwl,

I don’t have a site which is currently showing the problem (I reverted the changes once I discovered that the issue was still there…). The site that I tried to update and reverted is https://www.onerehab.co.uk
I have updated VC and Parallax & Video Backgrounds for VC but theme is still on v1.7. If I download the theme again from theme forest will that be the most recent version?
Thumbnails have been resized, no difference…..

Many thanks for your help

Yes, it will be 1.8, which is the latest at the moment.
Did you check the thumb sizes that Woocommerce is using in both versions (of Woo)? Maybe it’s different and the updated version needs to regenerate them in order to show the proper images…

Yes, checked thumb sizes and regenerated them. I will update the theme to 1.8, backup and try again tonight. The strange thing is that it works on a copy of the site hosted on a different server…thanks for your help, will report further!

Morning,
Updated to V1.8, backed up and updated to Woocommerce 3.1.0. Updated database structure and cleared all caches, CDN, etc. Slightly different, in that the main product image is normal size (but invisible) and the thumbnails are the correct size (again invisible), whereas previously all images were the same size and arranged in one column down the page (again invisible). Clicking on any of the invisible images will open the lightbox and display the image correctly.
Any thoughts?

Hi again,

So something is wrong with the thumbnails that should have been created.
Where can I access this to check what might be going wrong?

Hi,
i can set you up a username and password if you wish. The main site is not showing the problem at the moment (I’ve rolled it back to WC 2.6.14). Alternatively, I am currently copying the site to another host so we can (hopefully!) reproduce the behaviour without affecting our main site. Is there any possibility that this may be related to the hosting? PHP versions?

Many thanks
