I’m not sure what to do at this point. I really love the possibilities of this theme and the demo content was the point that sold me over similar themes.

I wouldn’t be able to help until you shed some light on the problem here…
What happened with the import, what did you do, how far did you get with the instructions to increase the limit, did you manage to do so??
I understand your frustration, and here’s the thing. Bottom line is The Demo is big, hosting servers are sold with limitations that simply need to be increased (even temporarily) in order to import the whole thing.
It’s clear what needs to be done and I will help you along the way, just explain in details how far you went with the recommendations in the documentation and the other posts regarding this please. :)

It was sending me to a 404 page until I added the suggested text to the wp-config.php, then it said the file was empty. I tried the php.ini as well. I reached out to GoDaddy and their answer was you need to edit the php.ini file. Umm I did that. “We dont offer a walk through on this subject. You can read this help page. Anything else I can help you with?” I read that help page, I made sure everything I did complied with it and with the docs from the theme, but it still won’t work. I don’t know if I should contact my host and ask them a specific question, pay for upgraded “resource usage” which is an option in the cPanel, or what.
