Is this possible?

If so, how do I do it?

Also, if it’s possible, am I able to use Visual Composer within the modal window? This is what I want to pop up to look like once the image is clicked: http://www.screencast.com/t/NXGUu6LhveP

No, no such feature out of the box. I would look for a plugin that allows Popups + HTML within them. Another way would be to mod the current popup in order to accommodate such functionality, it might turn out to be quite an effort though, the modal window I use is Magnific popup, it supports modals with HTML inside, check it out here:

By the way, I see the bottom columns (blue + green) are struggling to get aligned… Check the “equal_height_column” helper class here:
