What exactly is the issue with your thumbnails? It seems that woocommerce is using the correct default image thumbnails (300×300) so no issue there. If you want your images to be uniform along the X/Y axes make sure the images you upload are also uniform, otherwise they’ll be cropped along the larger of the two axes and will be misaligned. The current behavior is normal though. :)
