Hi I need to have the blog landing page (grid-style, with 9 boxes) “load more” when you get to the bottom with a button or some other way. How can I do this?

[Someone did a workaround for this on another Fortuna blog my company has, but then there were no actual Blog "posts" in the WP section where blog posts usually reside. They made the each blog post as an actual page in the "Pages" section. I'm not sure that it a good idea. Could you also comment on that?]

Thanks so much for your time, Cynthia

Hi there Cynthia,

You are speaking of the default blog page, yes? Not the custom ones with post grids/carousels?
There’s no such functionality in Fortuna, you could experiment with some plugins that support infinite scroll… Where is the feature you described that someone else implemented?

If you are speaking of the post grid blog page, you can have pagination there with a small modification, you can replace the content of this file (your file): \wp-content\themes\fortuna\includes\shortcodes\vc\boc_post_grid.php

with what’s in here:

http://blueowlcreative.com/TMP/boc_post_grid_pagination.txt

You will now have the option when creating a post grid to pick pagination and items per page.
You can then add this to your CSS to style those properly:

.pagination .links a.curr_page {
font-weight: bold;
}
.pagination .links a:hover {
color: white!important;
}

Let me know if that does it.
