I have an huge problem with retina images. The theme is displaying retina images (double size) on all mac’s and mac book, but not very mac book has a retina display.

The error notifications: Currently the theme implements retina.js, it looks for a larger images format in order to display on retina, in order to generate those you need a plugin:

I wouldn’t worry about it, you can simply comment out this line in your functions.php:

wp_enqueue_script(‘retina_js’, get_template_directory_uri().’/js/retina.min.js’ );

it is in fact commented out in version 1.3 so simply updating will fix the issue for you!

The second problem you are having – images in FF – it was a bug in Visual composer that they fixed in version 4.8 – that version also comes with version 1.3 of the theme so once you update the theme – remove the Visual composer, the theme will ask you to install it again and once you install it – it will be the newer 4.8 which will have the bug fixed! :)
So updating to 1.3 and VC 4.8 will fix your problems:
