We were completing browser testing for our website and on IE9/10 when you resize your browser it pauses the site. Can you please explain how to avoid making this happen or the reasoning behind why it does?

What do you mean by “pausing the site”?
Also have in mind that resizing the browser is not a normal user activity and is in no way definitive of the Responsive experience of a website, ESPECIALLY that of Internet explorer.
