First off remove the Row containers on this page, your content already flows in a 3/4 column. If you view the image I showed you above you will see that it is the actual background that represents the diagonal lines in the spacing with background.
If you have Photoshop you can edit that image and make the lines darker. I could help you with it too if you want.
