Hello Again,
I am facing an unusual problem suddenly. The first problem is the navigation font looks different than the one you used in themeforest demo. In typography all the default font and values are selected. So i don’t understand why the difference.
Isn’t the font Montserrat used for Menu navigation? Example : http://i.imgur.com/0j4g6Qt.png

Top one is my font and bottom one your is from your demo.

Now the second and main problem :

I was changing font and menus and it was working fine in all browsers. I mean the one i was working on plus in other browsers. Suddenly while working with menu and typography. The changes stopped taking place.
By which i mean :
I was working in google chrome while logged in wordpress. And if i add new menu or change the font from lower to uppercase. And from dashboard view my site. Changes took place.

But when i go to other browser (firefox,ie,opera) and visit the site there seems to be no changes taking place.

So i browsed the net in one place they mentioned to deactivate and activate plugins. Which i did and changes took places throughout all the browsers. The one in which i am logged in and also in others where i am logged out from wp. But i observed that to make simple changes and to make it available in other browsers i need to repeat the process of changing plugins.

Long story short, i figured out if i just press “flush cache” in WP then changes are taking place. So i realized its issue with cache not plugins. But now the problem is whenever i am making changes like changing menu, fonts etc. When i press view site from dashboard it shows the changes. But to make it work from other browsers where i am not logged in. I need to “flush cache” in wordpress.

And the problem is not really with browser cache because before using the flush cache option in wordpress i cleaned all the browsers cache and history. That didn’t help.

So, what is happening basically? Do i have to flush cache all the time to see changes? Note that the changes takes place if i view from the browser i am working on. I mean when i press view site in wp dashboard. It shows the changes. But it doesn’t from any other browsers till i flush cache.

Though it won’t cause much trouble. As i can first work and view the changes from dashboard and when done just flush cache then test in other browsers. But why is this problem occurring suddenly? It didnt happen earlier.

Is there any way to solve it?

Hi there friend!

Nothing to worry about, let me see your URL so I can see what’s going on.
You are correct by default you can manage your fonts from the Theme Options and they should kick in the way you set them in the there.
Now in your case I assume you are simply looking at one of the custom pages from the Demo. On some of them there’s explicit CSS rules (under the CSS section – check the link).

Using this custom CSS on any page allows you to modify CSS only for the current page as well as overwrite global CSS. In order for the Demo to display various styles, fonts, colors etc on separate pages we have used this section to overwrite global CSS in order to showcase different styles in Fortuna. This being said you should understand that when editing one of the Demo pages you shuold clear that custom Page CSS and instead use Theme options to set your global website’s colors, fonts and styles!

Good luck!

Hi,

I see Montserrat on your Home-blog page and the rest of them… Mine is Montserrat too, I just overwrite it on some specific pages like I explained to order to show that people can do it too (but from their theme options). So if you want to change your fonts globally just head over to Theme Options -> Typography.

But the font in your demo is very thin light compared to the one i have by default. I liked your one. Did you give some effect, i mean made it thinner. I mean which values are different.
Your demo : http://themeforest.net/item/fortuna-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/12496833

The link you have attached is the one with the Themeforest Frame, it always shows the Home page that has the default – Montserrat. Please remove the frame first.
Anyway if you edit that page then click on the CSS button i referred to above i am positive you will see the page specific style that overwrites the default. Still I would like to see which page you are talking about just so we are sure.

I kind of figure out how to remove bread crumb and title. But the revolutionary slider or image is still below the navigation header. I guess i will figure it out along the way.

Hi there,

No problem, this is simple, this is under Fortuna Page Settings! Both hiding the Page heading and the top margin of the content.

http://blueowlcreative.com/docs/fortuna/#page4

As for my Demo font, again, it’s Montserrat, where do you see it to be thinner?

In the mean time, you can reimport the Demos of your sliders now (after redownloading the theme) as the Demos are now fixed, otherwise some of the BGR images were missing as in your Demo of the slider.
