Hi guys,

Almost there.. due to go live on Monday…
I’ve disabled the Rev Slider for mobile viewing since the buttons and copy were overlapping and not resizing properly.

AS a result though the first thing you see is the next row of the homepage but for some reason this is showing the bottom tip of the heading hanging from the top margin.
[SEE TOP LEFT OF THE IMAGE - looks like the lower part of the 'p' from 'Spanish']

https://www.dropbox.com/s/k6aitawrjvxp5pn/IMG_7603.PNG?dl=0

Can this be resolved? Or is there anything I can do to hide it from view at least?

Almost there!
Speak soon,

Chris

Hi again Chris,

You have a full freedom of modifying the looks of your slider in responsive mode.
Make sure you explore both “Slide Layout” under Slider settings and then in the editor for every layer you have the different modes (device icons) to modify that specific layer and change it’s behavior.
Something is definitely going on there that shouldn’t happen. Let me see your credentials again, I will try to fix it.
I can see you are using an old theme version btw, I would definitely upgrade to the latest 1.3, you are on 1.1. Have you changed any theme files?
Also using a Child theme is advised in the future

Hi again,

You have DISABLE SLIDER ON MOBILE set to ON in your Slider settings
To the right, in your LAYOUT AND VISUAL tab.

Yeah I know – that’s intentional…
“I’ve disabled the Rev Slider for mobile viewing since the buttons and copy were overlapping and not resizing properly.”

But I need to fix the weird heading which seems to be repeating above the row and showing (see screengrab provided).

???

Oh, my bad, now I get what you are saying…
Indeed, this is a bug that was addressed in a version later than yours, make sure you update the theme.

http://blueowlcreative.com/docs/fortuna/#extra1

Don’t forget to backup before that just in case.

Right ok then, I’ve backed it all up.
I’ve downloaded the envato toolkit plugin and added the API.
I’ve previewed downloaded the updated Fortuna theme but the live preview is showing incorrect styling on the Person headings again…

Am I supposed to download/activate the new Fortuna theme files while I have the original Fortuna theme active or while I have the Child Theme active (which is what I’ve been working from)?

Really don’t want to mess this up so soon to launch so appreciate it if you could give me some guidance (beyond what you have in the documentation).

Speak soon,

Gave me a heart attack! Thought everything had been undone but it turns out the update had activated the Fortuna theme… i.e. un-activated the Child theme…

So I’ve re-activated the child theme and it’s all fine now.
Thanks for your patience.

Will that happen every time the them automatically updates?
How can I stop that?

And is it safe to update to WordPress 4.4?

Speak soon,

Chris
