Cut down one item so it shows on top along with the logo.
You wouldn’t want a regular page header on a page with transparent header, you can disable it and instead add a row with a dark background to make use of the transparent header. Hope that makes sense! :)

Regarding the navigation which is too large, thanks for your advice, this is something I’ve already mentioned to the client, we’ll see what we can do. I’ve seen that when you shrink the window size you reach a point where the menu becomes a hamburger icon: is there a simple way to change the moment when this appears. What I’d like to do is not allow main navigation to go under the logo, or break lines, which means turn the nav into icon sooner.

To handle the menu… you can decrease the font-size and the padding between the items in order to fit more items before it wraps down.
