I have added a row and added a Portfolio Grid element. But I don’t see how to add images to the grid. When I click the Edit button for the portfolio grid there are no tab to upload images. I also want to create categories for the images in the portfolio for viewers to filter by. I’m a photographer so the portfolio are various types of photos.

You simply make sure your portfolio items have Featured images added to them, those are the images that will show in the grid.
