I have evergreen content that is published on the AUQA theme. Problem is that google shows an old date in the SERPs and I would like to get the date removed. (The content is not date sensitive and I do not want to turn off or influence users not to click to visit just because the published post is dated 1 or 2 years back.

May I know how to edit or remove the lines of codes causing the dates to show up in the theme?

It would be the single.php template file… then look for this: class="calendar"
I am not sure whether what you are seeing there is not a Google marking of the article of some sort, I don’t see it btw when searching, did you use a time frame filter?
