I have a issue with the responsive behaviour of the theme.
On my Nexus 9 tablet with Firefox (Version 41.0) the theme looks totally broken, when the site is loaded in portrait mode. The complete content is displayed in the small strip you can see on the screenshot.
If the site is loaded in landscape and then switched to portrait mode its all okay.
I have debugged and tried to fix it in the browser, but I found no fast solution for this problem.
Could you help me with this?

Hi there,

Sure we have a few other issues reported for tablet views and we are tackling them one by one! We will definitely take a look at this, what version of the Nexus 9 are you using so we know which resolution is being problematic? Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks!

I wonder how the website breaks with such a high resolution, does this happen when you rotate the device and it switches views?

The resolution of the browser viewport is not that high, it’s only 768 x 843 pixels, you can see it here.

I figured out that everything runs properly when the transparent header isn’t selected in the page settings. If the transparent header option is set, the div-tag with the class “content_body” gets an negative margin-top (like margin-top: -62px) and that causes the issue!

Now I found out how I can work around the problem, but I would be glad to hear from you if you found a better solution!

Ah, Ok that makes sense then (the viewport).
I will really need to get a hold of a device to see what’s going on and will have feedback then. When I view it on IPad under Chrome Dev tools it seems OK, it’s just that the columns are quite thin, the header seems ok though. From your first screenshot seems like the content is twisted to one side… the header seems ok, what is the major issue?

Yes, on iPad everything looks ok. The colums are looking thin because there is a mediaquery (min-width: 480px and max-width: 768px) which sets the width of div.container to 440px. If you change it to like 80% the column looks better

Like the first screenshot shows, the content is displayed only in this thin column, this is the major issue. But the header and the footer are okay.
