On other pages it eventually appears on an iPhone 5 and does not appear at all on iPhone 6. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve the issue?

Sure, there are different responsive options you can set to your sliders, layers themselves allow you to add different behaviors in different resolutions, what version of the slider are you using?
