How do i setup a semi transparent nav bar and social icons next to the menu ?

You manage your header transparency etc under Fortuna Options -> Header. Play around with those to get to know how things work. There’s also the transparent header you can setup and later enable on a per page basis while editing each page under Page Settings.

Thanks for the reply, you forgot to mention bout adding social media links near or next to the primary menu, also i want to add periscope social media icon

This would require a modification you can do in your Child theme’s header.php (copied over from your main theme). You will have to reorganize the structure in order to render the social icons in your main navigation area.
Another way would be to simple list the icons as regular Menu items, they would show up to the left of the search icon though as they would be a part of the menu.
Here’s how to do that:

1. Add a Custom Link to your Menu.
2. In its label enter this: <i class="icon heart2"></i> where “heart2″ is the icon you want to use, then add the link you want.

one final question bout the icon, cann i add a custom icon apart from fontawesome ? i mean the Periscope TV icon using the method you had told above..

Fortuna features 4 icon sets, not only Fontawesome:

Unfortunately the Periscope TV icon is not in any of those so you have to add it separately either as an SVG icon, introduce an image icon via CSS, or add your own custom font separately that has it within it.

Why not have multiple header options in future updates ? I like the way Betheme has those headers, multiple choices.. BTW just an heads up ..
