Sidebar showing extra space on right

I have selected to show sidebar on the left of the page. SInce then, my page width has been extended which is looking very bad. FOr your reference, below is the link of the page.

Hi there,

What are these csRow and csColumn classes you are using? Custom plugin or something?
Make sure you remove those and use only the theme Rows and columns, combining 2 grid systems is not a good idea…

Hi,

It isn’t because of any plugin. I just checked to verify the same. I have remove that plugin and used normal columns. You can see in below link that still there is an extra space coming in.

It happens only when we add a sidebar on the left. It doesn’t happen when we add side on the right. I think it happens because of page size something. Please check and let me know ASAP as it is blocking me to launch my tutorial.

Hi again,

When using the Sidebar + Content page template you can’t use rows anymore with 16 columns in them. You are left with only 12 rows because 4 are taken for the sidebar. So make sure you place only 12 in a row!

Like I said again – in pages with a sidebar remember that you have only 12 Columns available! You don’t need to use the Row shortcode as well…

Thanks a lot for the solution. Can you also let me know how can I change the background color of a sidebar present on the page. I just want some differentiation between menu and the content.

Also, how can i add some image on top of the sidebar menu as reflected on the page.Because if you see it currently, there is no space between header and the menu title

Using simple CSS for both of these will help:

#sidebar {
background: #eee;
}

#sidebar {
margin-top: 30px;
}

Thanks I did that and it worked. Sorry but I have two more questions:

1) If you go down on this page, I have added two icons.. One with right arrow and another one with left arrow. But I want them to be in one line however it seems difficult to put both of them in one line. Can you guide me on this?
2) How can I add margin before Payment Domain h1 tag because it is attached with the page.

Hi,

1. How about you place them in columns.
2. Add some empty paragraphs there, or a div with styled height.

I just did those for you!

I would use regular icons for those arrow links… somehow they don’t work, is it a plugin that you have that conflicts with the theme icon shortcode?
