However after i deleted the other pages i see taht now my main slider on my home page has disappeared?

How do i put it back without restoring all the unwanted pages ?

Simply check what sliders you have available under Revolution slider in your Dashboard.
To then add one of them to a page, edit the page and add a Rev slider element and select the one you wish to use from the list. :)

I installed Speed Booster Pack and i deactivated it and the slider came back :)
