I deleted the theme from the mock up wp site and now when I try to install in his wordpress it stays uploading never finishes and I get an error message. Please let me know if you can help me with this.

Do you get any error messages? You might need to check the server logs and see what’s going on, it’s possible that his server has memory/script execution time limits that don’t let you finish the installation.
