Have you translated your PO/MO files yet?
Editing your wp-config.php is not needed, all you need to do is change your active language in the admin and if your new locale files are in place you will see theme strings translated… :)

In the admin panel the corresponding language had been already set to active. I reversed Locale to the default in php.config file. Nothing has changed anyway.
