I have the transparent menu set and it is fine throughout the site, however, when I reduce the width of the site to tablet and mobile size, the navigation area turns white which then hides the white logo and white menu items.

The same thing occurs on the blog, even in standard view (http://fladvisors.wpengine.com/resources/).

How do I keep the navigation bar and transparent coloring the same throughout the site so the blog and the responsive nav have the same appearance as all the other pages?

Here’s how the navigation should look like.

No, not yet.

Here’s the menu on the blog and all the blog post pages (blog is at http://fladvisors.wpengine.com/resources/):

http://www.screencast.com/t/zU0YsE4UZnp

It’s got a white background, the menu items are white, and the logo is white so none of it is visible, however, when you hover over where the logo and menu items should be, I can see the links are there, just non visible.

This menu should have the same black transparent background as the rest of the site with the white logo and white menu items.

Here is the menu background when I reduce the width of the page which would affect tablet and mobile. http://www.screencast.com/t/XRODjeL666Tm

You’ll see the background once again turns white hiding the white logo. This should have the same menu format as the rest of the site.

Thanks for your help.

Oh ooops, sorry.

So how about setting it globally:

#header {
    background: rgba(66,66, 66, 0.75)!important;
}

No problem,

Hey quick heads up, I saw you are using some custom Related posts…

http://fladvisors.wpengine.com/a-standard-post/

Why not use the Post carousel that comes with the theme instead, I think it looks better than these. First switch on Visual Composer for your posts, then add the Post Carousel element below the post content and filter the categories you want to show + check the “Exclude current post” options.

I was looking for a “related post” type feature in the theme but didn’t find it so I installed that today. I don’t mind using Visual Composer, but don’t know how to set it for all blog pages to have it rather than having to generate the post carousel on each post.

Hi again,

The blog uses the index.php rather than the page.php that allows for all Fortuna Page Settings. I will look into integrating the customizations for the Blog listing template as well though!
