Updating Aqua Theme from old version to latest version causes settings loss

Upon upgrading old Aqua theme to new theme, i get this pop up in control panel:

OptionTree has outdated data that should be removed. Please go to OptionTree Cleanup for more information.

And there after, all Posts/Pages settings like sidebars setting disappears. Problem is, i have 600 + pages and different settings for each to the sidebars.

The footer widgets had been reset as well. ( this is OK. I only need to edit 4-5 widgets manually back)

Any workaround so that the settings don’t get lost?

Hi there,

I don’t think you will lose any data but just in case make sure you create a backup!
This was a fix of Option tree plugin that was fixing some of its duplicate entries, it shouldn’t happen again.

actually it does. I just confirmed it with multiple restores and reloads.

All the current pages “page attributes” => Template were resetted to default template.

All the pages “Sidebar” option were also resetted to default.

I had to suck it up and blaze through hundreds of page to manually reset the sidebar to the correct ones as I use custom sidebars for different pages.
