There is a button at the bottom of the page titled “Next: Implementation”. When clicked, it is supposed to load the content that is in the same tab set called “Implementation” at the URL https://www.antworthy.com/index.php/our-process/#implementation.

Instead of the desired behavior, the page seems to load the correct URL in the address bar but stays on the same content while scrolling down to the bottom.

I’ve tried using the full URL in the Fortuna Button URL field and have also tried just using the anchor link “#Implementation” but both result in the same behavior noted. If, however I link to a totally different page on the site that also uses tabs and an anchor link, it works. Example: “https://www.antworthy.com/index.php/faq/#fees” Seems like it’s a problem that is happening only when it’s trying to load content from the same tab set.

Really hoping this is not a dumb question…. spent a good part of this evening look for an answer but I’m tapped out. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

First off – quick heads up – please remove the including of the fonts under your Page Settings (the Cog icon) as it generates a JS error for you. These are a part of the Demo that demonstrate the different capabilities of the theme, you are supposed to use your Theme options to set your Fonts, colors etc. instead.

To the question: easyResponsiveTabs – the plugin we use for the Tabs doesn’t utilize the hashtag in a regular way so linking to a “tab1″ for example doesn’t open the tab with id “tab1″. We have posted a question on the plugins developer’s forum with a question about this, if no reply is available within a day or two we would be happy to develop a custom solution for this feature. Please get remind us about this in a few days if we don’t come back with you on this.

I’ll follow up with you on the question in a few days if I don’t hear back.

You may want to device some internal solution for now. I would create my button with a specific class. Then with a custom JS (using the Raw JS element) add an eventHandler for your button, so that when clicked it clicks a particular Tab from your tabs. That should work.
Let me know if you need help coding it.
