WP 4.4. says that vc_set_template_dir is outdated:


Notice: vc_set_template_dir is outdated since Version 4.2! Use vc_set_shortcodes_templates_dir. in /.../wp-includes/functions.php on line 3568 instead

Any updates on this? Revolution slider does not work properly with this error.

First off – this is a notice, not an error, you should have Notices and Warnings switched off on your prod environment.
Is this an error that Rev slider is causing or VC?
