Just noticed my Skype link in the subheader wasn’t working. Tried to resolve by adding “callto://TheSpanishAcademy” as instructed within the Fortuna Theme Options but it only ever seems to link through to my homepage.

Any ideas how to fix this so that it activates a Skype call?

Yes, same thing for footer, remove the esc_url() method.

Really weird!

Just amended footer.php (in the child theme files, same as I did for header.php) but it’s made no difference at all this time. Footer Skype logo only links to “http://www.thespanishacademy.co.uk/” instead of “callto://TheSpanishAcademy” so it’s not even adding the absolute path, it’s also ignoring the link added in Fortuna options.
