Hi, I want to create custom headers for each page like this one:

http://themeforest.net/item/fortuna-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/12496833

But from looking in the page editor I can’t see where it is added? I can see that there are rows with heading text in them but I don’t see where they have specified the image? I don’t need a slider just a static image.

Thanks

Actually what would be better is if I could set this as a background image (different for each page). How would I do this?

Hi there,

You should place this as a background of your top Row & use a transparent header, not of the Page… The page one works only if you use a Boxed Wrapper style + it will be behind the boxed wrapper.

I didn’t want to use the boxed layout on my pages, is there another way I can do this so I can keep full width?

Oh sorry I just realised you meant changing the page background only works on a boxed wrapper style. So it should work full width if I put the background on the row, right?

So I just have to problems with it – please could you take a look at the screenshot attached?

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=5060D4EDA2F65A67!277&authkey=!AJ25g0djWoJFO68&v=3&ithint=photo%2cjpg

1) As soon as I make the header transparent, it pushes the content to the top of the page above and over the navigation rather than keep it where it was.
2) The whole image is not showing, just a slither of it.

How can I correct these two things?

Thanks so much

Hi again,

1. That’s the idea of a transparent header. In order to make things like you want them simply add a Row padding (top and bottom) to the row with the background!

2. Again, adding a padding to the row will make more of it show!

Such is the case here for example:

http://blueowlcreative.com/wp/fortuna/home-page/home-custom-header/
