I’m having trouble setting up a blog page. I know to assign a post to a page in settings>reading but when i assign this page as the post page there is not blog template choice. the custom post template plugin is activated but it does not show on the post edit page. Please advise and let me know if you want login credentials.

I also want to be able to add social share buttons at the bottom of the post. since there is not visual composer how can I do this? I think something is missing from my theme. I have this problem on 2 separate websites.

You can remove comments by using a plugin!

Adding Share buttons to your posts – you can also achieve this via plugins, or you could possibly override your single.php template in your Child theme. :)

When i create a “new post” there is no Visual Composer, why?
Why isn’t there the features of VC to design and build a “post” like there is when creating a “page”. There’s just that little shortcode dropdown menu with only 7 options – button, icon, spacing, table, highlight, tooltip, text message.
