Demo files

How do I know when the demo files have been uploaded properly? I went through the steps on here: http://blueowlcreative.com/docs/fortuna/#installation3

Where do I go next to activate the files?

It sure would have been nice if these files were easier to access so I could simply select a template style to modify. I’ve been messing around with this for 3 hours today. It seems like you guys are making this much more complicated than it needs to be.

Hi there,

You should be able to set your Home page after the DEMO is over, then set your Menus etc.
If you go to your Media section and see all images from the theme it means your demo is imported, if it’s only some of them then maybe an issue appeared.
Did you get any sort of message after the import ended?

Yes I now see the images. Where do i set the homepage to the demo? I’ve looked in the Pages section but I see no option for selecting one of the demo homepages.

It would be wonderful if you offered a video demonstration of this.

Please advise.

Ok yes, I had already visited the guide on setting your Home page. Should there be a “demo page” option to select? Currently it only shows me “sample page” for an option.

Perhaps the xfer was incomplete? Should it have given me a confirmation message after the demo files were uploaded successfully?

Yes, maybe you are having one of the issues with server limitations described at the bottom of the doc page. Make sure your server limitations are increased/removed so you can import the whole DEMO.

Please tell me how to edit the “pre footer” area that currently says
“Fortuna is a modern WordPress Theme that features clean responsive design and is loaded with plenty of hot features. You and your clients will fall in love with its slick vision and full spec package.”

I found the footer section, but can’t find where to edit this area.
