I’m having issue with template gallery when I use portrait images which doesn’t look nice when you have pics like 800x1200px and standard WP gallery sucks because there in no lightbox. How can use same like here in the post? http://blueowlcreative.com/wp/fortuna/image-gallery/

Why don’t you use the uncropped ones then? Or override your thumb sizes?

You can edit your wp-content\themes\fortuna\single.php file – the template responsible for displaying a single post. Then modify the type of thumbnail that shows in the gallery.
Currently it’s “full” so the whole image(s) should show. May I see your URL please?
