That would actually be simple, simply upload the file via Media Library. You would then get the link (URL) to that file from the library and paste it as your buttons link. :)

Good point, indeed currently not possible unless you add a button manually into a TEXT BLOCK (TEXT instead of VISUAL) area like so:
