I’ve tried everything in this article (How do I fix duplicate meta tags?, changed some codes in function.php and etc.

But those did not help to remove the empty duplicated meta descriptions.

You can check out this page as an example.

The situation is not related with the plugin. It is more related to the theme properties or functions.

How can I remove them?

We don’t add any meta description within the header.php template manually in the theme, you can check that in the header.php file within the root theme folder (the one that comes in the theme by default in our package from TF).

Some plugin you are using must have added those metatags on top, then maybe Yoast SEO is trying to override them. I would edit my header.php and see what’s there, then try to remove the extra tags manually…
