I’m trying to translate a couple of words of the theme. I made a new .po file called fi_FI.po and changed the language to Finnish from the dashboard. However, the words wont change on the webpage :(. I also tried define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fi-FI’); but does not help me either.

I’m I doing something wrong…

Obviously yes, make sure the locale is the same as the names of your new PO and MO files, you compiled the MO file too yes?

I Figured it out. I changed the name fi_FI.po to fi.po and it worked. However, now i got another question. How do I change the dashboard language to english. I want my theme to be in finnish and the admin in english :).
