I have had to manually apply a negative top margin to the first content element below the image bar, otherwise there is a large white gap between the wave image and where the text starts…is there a universal way to remove this space?

First off I would use a JPG image here:

this one is pretty huge in size and loading it takes awhile…

As for your question. I think you overcomplicated things by using a fixed height slider, then setting a negative margin to it etc… You also placed this rev slider in a column, then it stretches your row in height etc. hence the positioning of the next row.

You can achieve the same by simply using a full width row and placing a heading element inside of it without using a rev slider at all. You won’t end up with these strange positionings etc. Also use a transparent header for the page. :)

The font color in the fortuna heading is not changing, I’ve set it to white but it’s appearing dark grey. Any ideas?
