Something is happening when I mouse over on the footer menu links…the items disappear. I thought it was just changing to a dark colour and that I could switch it out, but the li items are actually disappearing…how can I fix this?

You can overwrite those with some CSS:

#footer a:hover {
    color: #c4c6cc;
}
