If you are using the VC as part of a theme you don’t get a personal activation key and you don’t need one! You will be updating the plugin with theme updates. :)

Sure, you get the plugin for free with the theme (the theme asks you to install it for you).
You can get the latest version in 2 ways.

1. From me upon request – NOT Recommended, as the theme won’t be fully tested with the latest version of the theme, the rest of the plugins that are dependend on VC won’t be yet tested with VC (the Parallax & Video for VC plugin for example).

2. Upon theme update the theme always comes with the latest VC version all tested + the rest of the plugins are tested to be compatible with it. – Recommended.

I am happy to provide the latest version to anyway that needs it, simply let me know, but other VC dependent functionalities won’t be yet tested. :)

I’m having similar issues. I can see the code in ‘Classic Mode’ but once I click on ‘Backend Editor’ none of the Visual Composer features appear.

I’ve been playing around with it for some time but am at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
