Hello,

After we’ve updated one of our sites to the recent version of the Fortuna theme, our site no longer looks right on iPad.

We noticed you added “max-width:768px” and “min-width:768px” styles. First of all, media queries are inclusive in case you didn’t know, so that right there is a problem. It should be one or the other, and this seems more like a hack, if anything, one that I have yet to understand.

Visual Composer already has its styles setup with “min-width: 768px” and “max-width: 767px”. Which means that you’ve made all our divs 100% width on iPad. HOWEVER, the mobile styles we’ve chosen from the Visual Composer backend don’t show up after window-width 767px. I hope you are not expecting us to create a specific stylesheet for iPad now. This isn’t efficient at all. I hope you can rectify this issue. It’s just not cool :/

Thank you.

Hi there,

You updated from which version?
The reason we added this
(max-width: 768px)
was rather simple – we had to make sure that Tablets stacked columns (making them 100% wide) instead of default’s VC state where they don’t at 768.
You can test yourself – our Demo, remove the column stacking and resize window to 768px – you will notice content gets cramped up and columns start bleeding real bad. The fix was obvious stacking of columns had to start at 768, not a step below!

Now, if I can help you in any way let me know by explaining your problem (make sure you add your URL too), I’d be happy to do so if I can.
