What do you mean the shopping cart is showing dropdown arrow? Do you need woocommerce?
It only shows if you have items in the cart…
Menu color for mobile would be changed via CSS:

#mobile_menu ul li a,  #mobile_menu ul li a:hover {
    color: yellow;
