The custom css will work then.
If you don’t want to update simply add that CSS to your Child theme instead of theme options (there was a small bug in theme options->custom CSS – the “>” sign didn’t render properly in older theme versions).

If you have this:
return $inline_css;

replace with this:

return html_entity_decode($inline_css);

But I would like to have it in a different color (not red), but blue). If possible the background of the submenu in blue (#42baff) and font in white.

Any change, this can be done? Otherwise, I need to change the red.
